It's a first review on Typenow Solid from DJ.Han in Kbdmania.
Typenow Solid is ready made & factory manufacturing (not a DIY) mechanical keyboard.
All things are so complicated and confused. But we have to type a keyboard. So, I touch it. It's a keyboard that will be released in Korea and other countries - TYPENOW SOLID
It's really cool and luxuary package for Keyboard. Package's price is smillar to cheap membard keyboard. Naturally package box is quite heavy. Beacuse keyboard in it is near to 2kg (acutally about 1.9kg)
I can cushionable material in package. Let's up it. Black or dar gray keyboard is pop upped - This is TypeNow Solid.
Anyway, I can see black aluminum frame and aluminum frame under keycaps.
Screwed type aluminum keyboard stand is packed separtely in package. User can install keyboard stand on bottom side of keyboard housing.
It's a picture after install keyboard stand to bottom side.
But I don't install keyboard stand beacuse I want to use keyboard in keyboard tray. Anyway, it's not bad to use combination of black logitech wireless mouse with TypeNow Solid. I some worry about heavy keyboard is falled down in the tray. But there is no problme to use a TypeNow Solid in keyboard
tray.
Aluminium frame is more look so good than picture. Layout is typical Space Saver or tenkyelss type layout as 87 keys. It include Windows key and Menu kye. But there is no extra keys for Korean. Enter key's shape follow to standard enter shape of US layout.
Let's check above picture. Caps Locck and Scroll Lock keycap have a LED. As me, I set a Capas Lock key as Command key in OS X, so this key don't turn on when I press caps lock key.
It's some difficult to check, anyway keycap's printing is so bold and clean. All keycap are laser cutted, color is white. English font is so far so good. .
I decide to use a blue switch (Click keyboard). Brown switch is not bad. but it's not interesting like a blue switch. As a Man, we have to use a pure bule near to transparency. I belive to do this. :D

Key felling is click switch of itself. There is no mothion with solid aluminum metal house and interal aluminum fare in the keyboard.
Of cousre, you can make something as modified switched and sulimation keycap and some special controller. May be it rather than TypeNow Solid. But it's rare and need a time and so much buck to accomplised it. TypeNow solid is not extremly gadget. But it is well balanced keyboad as full aluminium frame and internal aluminum frame and quite good felling. It's one of best in ready made and commerical mechainal keyboard in this era.
It takes one day to use it. I am very satisfied to it. Yes, This is real blue switch keyboard. It's a quite high end keyboard. But Shit!! :D How much is it? HAHAHA.
Pros : Exclusivity from Package, Heavy and Solid metal housing, good touch felling, Clean and bold key feeling.
Cons : Price.. Price.. Price..
